Electrical Circuit Design
Phoenix Engineering offers electric circuit design that adopt noise reduction for wireless communication, acoustic, power supply and so on.
Our extensive experience and expertise developed over years on analog circuit design are now two very important backbones for our noise reduction solutions which heighten the product quality to its fullest capacity.
Regardless of which market you are targeting, we have know-hows and technological experiences in working within various different electrical codes and compliances around the world which also are our great advantages.
PCB Design
Phoenix Engineering can design single-sided printed board to maximum of 18 multilayer PCB in accordance with size and shape limitations, electrical specifications, and compliances. Also we provide PCBA as trial sample.
Design Process
Studying product planning specifications | We study the specification of a product plan and work along with software design block diagrams which contain appropriate key devices together. Then we quantify the functional specs and accordingly select parts that can satisfy required functionality.
Output |
---|---|
Circuit Design | After quantifying the target specification values at previous reviewing stage, our next process is to design circuit diagrams that can realize those specified functionalities. The important key here is to preliminarily include countermeasures for noises caused by power source, radiations and electrostatics in pictures, because fixing these later on will be way more difficult once prototypes are made and that can easily increase the cost.
Output |
PCB Design | Next we design component layout and patterns based on PCB outline designed by our Mechanical Design, paying extra attention to noise factors. Also we pay attention to product target regions and their safety standards and radio laws. At this drawing stage, we perform electrical characteristic simulations to RST (Rapid Signal Transmission) and several other systems.
Output |
Prototype Trial | We examine functions and electrical performances of PCBA and whether it adapts the specifications as PCBA. Then PCBA is assembled onto mechanical components to be evaluated as product trial samples. Especially noise issues and EMI, EMC are difficult to improve at tooling prototype stage, so we promote to evaluate and find good solution at this stage.
Output |
Tooling Prototype trial | Substantial number of prototypes are made with the same components and under the same condition as mass production at this stage. Those prototypes are tested in terms of electrical characteristics, environment, reliability and compliance. We pay special attention to whether the performance spec fluctuates within expected deviations with enough margins. The circuit and PCB design can be revised at this point for adaptation mass production deviations. We work together factory engineer to check production Jig, line measurement, and coordinate SMT engineer for a smoothly initiation of mass production. Output |
Witness Inspection of Mass Production | We commit ourselves to attend inspection at manufacturers for mass production initiation and check mass production jigs and processes that have been established during tooling prototype stage. In case any initial failure is found, we assist them to find the solutions and solve problems in agile manner. |
